Job
Summary:


Assists in administering health information services consistent with accreditation and regulatory standards and facility policies and procedures. Implements policies and procedures for documenting, storing and retrieving information, processing medical legal documents, insurance data and correspondence requests. Maintains patient medical records and ensures accurate documentation per requirements. Ensures HIPAA guidelines are followed. Maintains positive collegial relationships with physicians and all departments.

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and respects confidentiality
  • Knowledge of medical terminology

Qualifications

Education:


High School or equivalency diploma



Experience:


One year experience in a health care facility working with medical records.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
